100 of the most beautiful historic cars built before 1968 (with some exceptions before 1976) will cover some of the most evocative roads in Italy: 420 km and 11 Dolomite passes from Madonna di Campiglio, the starting point of the event, through valleys and places of rare beauty, from Val Gardena to Canazei, up to Bolzano.
How does the Winter Marathon work?
The event will start Thursday 25th evening with a first 40 km race through the Val Rendena, to then reach its peak on Friday 26. From 11 am, the 100 cars in the race will begin the 380 km route that winds through the most evocative glimpses of the Dolomites, to arrive late in the evening at Madonna di Campiglio. The event also includes some evocative tests on the frozen lake in the place that hosts the Marathon: the Digitech Trophy reserved for the participating pre-war cars and the Eberhard Trophy for the first 32 classified teams of the Winter Marathon engaged in exciting knockout challenges. The event is not only a sporting event but also a gala occasion, thanks to the exclusive dinners and parties organized for the race.
Who is it for?
For collectors and all vintage car enthusiasts, for those who love extreme car races, but also for all those who want to be captivated by the roads and the breathtaking Dolomite landscapes.
